  • Every occupant, and in a case where there is not an occupant, the owner of every house, shop, building, lot or parcel of land fronting or abutting on any street or street where there are sidewalks shall, within twenty-four (24) hours of the falling of snow or ice, cause the same to be removed from said sidewalk in front of or adjacent to such house, shop, building, lot or parcel of land.
