Due to the overwhelming success of spring clean-up the Town has decided to also include a one week Autumn Clean-up at the landfill.
The Town Landfill will be FREE for Town of Biggar residents from:
September 21st, 2019 to September 28th, 2019
The landfill will be open regular summer hours:
Monday, Wednesday, Friday & Saturday
10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Town residents are encouraged to take advantage of this time to dispose of any household garbage and debris for autumn clean up.
This is for residential use only; commercial landfill fees will still apply. Regular rules of the landfill are still applicable; tires are prohibited; Freon charges are still applicable.
The roll out of front street waste pickup along with the free landfill use for the spring and autumn clean-up, should ensure that no waste or debris are placed in back alleys. Residents continue to be responsible to clean up any garbage or debris from back alleys and keep the alleys tidy.
